Genshin Impact uses a pity system that guarantees a 5★ every 90 pulls on character banners, with soft pity starting at pull 74 (base rate jumps from 0.6% to ~6.6% and increases each pull). The 50/50 system gives you a 50% chance of getting the featured character — lose it and your next 5★ is guaranteed. Since version 5.0, Capturing Radiance effectively raises the featured rate to ~55% and makes three consecutive losses impossible. On the weapon banner, Epitomized Path lets you guarantee a specific weapon within 160 pulls.

What is the Genshin Impact Standard banner?
The Standard banner (Wanderlust Invocation) is Genshin Impact's permanent banner. It contains permanent 5★ characters (Diluc, Jean, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi, Tighnari, Dehya) and permanent 5★ weapons. Hard pity at 90 pulls, soft pity from pull 74.
Does the standard banner have a 50/50 system?
No. When you hit hard pity (90 pulls) you get a random item from the full pool: it can be any of the permanent characters or weapons, with equal probability between all of them. There is no guarantee for a specific item.
Is standard banner pity shared with event banner pity?
No. Standard banner pity is completely independent from Character Event and Weapon Event banners. Each banner type has its own counter.
What is the connection between the standard banner and the 50/50?
When you lose a 50/50 on a Character Event banner, the 5★ you receive comes from the standard banner pool. This means you can obtain standard pool characters without pulling directly on the standard banner.
Is it worth pulling on the standard banner?
