What is a Warp in Honkai: Star Rail?
A Warp is the official in-game term for each pull or summon. On the Character Event Warp banner, each Warp costs 160 Stellar Jade or 1 Star Rail Pass. "Warp" is equivalent to "pull" in community language.
How much Stellar Jade do I need to guarantee the limited character?
In the worst case (losing the 50/50 and hitting hard pity twice) you need 180 Warps = 28,800 Stellar Jade. On average, getting the limited character costs around 75–80 pulls (~12,000–12,800 Stellar Jade).
What is a Star Rail Pass?
The Star Rail Pass is the item equivalent to 1 Warp on the Character Event banner. It can be obtained in-game or by exchanging 160 Stellar Jade. There is also the Star Rail Special Pass for Stellar Warp.
Does pity carry over between HSR character event banners?
Yes. Character Event Warp pity carries over between consecutive character event banners. If you reach 70 pulls on one banner and it changes, those 70 pulls carry to the next banner.
When does soft pity start in Honkai: Star Rail?
Soft pity in Honkai: Star Rail starts at pull 74. From that point, the 5★ probability increases significantly with each Warp up to hard pity at 90.
Is Character Event pity shared with Light Cone Event?
No. Character Event Warp pity is completely independent from Light Cone Event and Stellar Warp. Each banner type has its own counter.
