What is the fastest and most efficient way to get Coins in Fishdom?
Fishdom keeps its two currencies clearly apart. Diamonds are the premium currency: they buy boosters, extra moves and life refills. Coins are only used to buy fish and decorations for the aquariums, never to unstick a level. Since decoration raises the aquarium's Beauty, Beauty grants stars, and those stars return diamonds and increase the coins each level pays out, both currencies are connected in a loop worth understanding before you spend anything.

Aquarium maintenance is not decorative: feeding the fish and cleaning the glass generates coins, and Playrix also lists it among the sources of diamonds. Anyone who only plays the board and ignores the aquarium tab is leaving half their income on the table without realising it.

Clearing the same levels without checking which event is running wastes progress you were generating anyway.

You can sell fish and decorations you no longer want, but it is worth knowing the real price: you only recover half of what you paid, and the aquarium's Beauty drops, which can push you further from the next star. Since that star is what brings diamonds and raises the coins per level, selling to cover a one-off expense usually works out expensive. It only makes sense when you are redesigning a whole aquarium and there are pieces you will not be placing again.

Raise the aquarium's Beauty to collect the stars
Beauty measures how far along an aquarium is and rises when you buy fish and decorations with coins. Crossing each threshold earns you a star, and every star does three things: it unlocks new aquariums, it increases the coins you collect per level cleared, and it hands over diamonds or boosters as a one-off bonus. It is the reason spending coins on decoration is not a whim but the investment that holds up the rest of the game's economy.

From level 27 the Season Challenges activate: you build up points by clearing levels and taking part in events, and every tier unlocks a reward. It matters to know what is left out: the Safe, which turns leftover points into keys and keys into diamonds — one for every ten, up to fifty — only opens with the paid Gold Pass, as do the silver and gold vouchers.

How do you get free diamonds in Fishdom?
Playrix support lists several routes: collecting stars in your aquariums, linking your game to Facebook, subscribing to the in-game newsletter, feeding the fish, cleaning the aquariums and placing well in events and competitions. The first two are one-offs; the rest repeat for as long as you play. There is no way to convert coins into diamonds or the other way round.
What are coins for if they do not buy moves?
Fishdom coins are only spent on fish and decorations for the aquariums. It sounds limited, but it is what drives everything else: each purchase raises Beauty, Beauty gives stars, and stars unlock new aquariums, increase the coins each level pays and hand over diamonds or boosters.
