Neverness to Everness uses Annulith to summon S-class characters. It's one of the most generous systems in the genre: soft pity called Board Modification kicks in at pull 70, where the rate jumps instantly from 1.87% to ~19.59% and keeps rising until hard pity at 90. No 50/50: the S-class is always the featured one. Pity never resets between banners.

Frequently asked questions about pity in Neverness to Everness
What is Board Modification in Neverness to Everness?
Board Modification is NTE's soft pity: starting at pull 70 without an S-class character, the rate jumps instantly from the 1.87% base rate to roughly 19.59%, and keeps climbing pull by pull until hard pity at 90.
Why is NTE's pity considered one of the most generous in the genre?
Because the pity counter NEVER resets between banners: if you reach 60 pulls without an S-class and the banner changes, those 60 pulls still count on the next banner. There is also no 50/50: the S-class you get is always the featured character.
How many Annulith do I need for hard pity in NTE?
90 pulls Γ 160 Annulith = 14,400 Annulith worst case, though thanks to Board Modification and pity never being lost, the real expected cost is usually lower.
What is the Arc weapon banner in Neverness to Everness?
The Arc banner is NTE's weapon banner: it has its own pity, with hard pity at 60 pulls and soft pity from pull 45. Just like the character banner, there is no 50/50 β the featured Arc weapon is always guaranteed once you hit pity.
Is there a 50/50 system in Neverness to Everness?
No, on any banner. On both the S-class character banner and the Arc weapon banner, any top-rarity unit you get is always the featured one on the active banner.
