How to Get the Most Free Diamonds in Last Shelter: Survival

Diamonds in Last Shelter: Survival come in a trickle, but the game hands out a reasonable amount if you know where to look. Here are the methods that actually work, ordered by the rhythm at which you play each day.

What is the fastest and most efficient way to get Diamonds in Last Shelter: Survival?

The diamond is the premium currency of Last Shelter: Survival and is used mostly to speed up construction, buy teleports, raise your VIP level and cover resource gaps. It is not produced in any building: it only comes in through rewards, so your accumulation rate depends on how many challenges and events you close each day. Cash, on the other hand, is a base resource: it is generated by banks and trade, and it is spent on upgrades, troop promotion and wisdom medals.

Every day

  • Around 100 diamonds at the first tier, 400 to 600 at the second and up to 2,000 at the third

Close all three tiers of the daily challenge

The daily challenge sits in the events tab and works on accumulated points: training troops, upgrading buildings, researching technology, attacking zombies or spending speed-ups all add to the same counter. It is split into three tiers and the reward jump between the second and the third is enormous, so it pays to plan your day around reaching the last one. A basic trick: save your long upgrades and speed-ups for the moment when you are just short of a tier, instead of spending them across the day with no plan.

  • Up to around 25 diamonds a day in an alliance with more than 50 active members

    Alliance attendance and activity

The alliance attendance bonus only unlocks if the group keeps a high number of members online, so joining a large, living alliance is worth more than any trick. On top of that, tapping the handshake icon at the embassy to ask for and give help cuts construction times, and the alliance technologies you donate to pay you back in contribution points. Those points are redeemed in the alliance shop for teleports and shields, items you would otherwise pay for with diamonds.

  • Small chests every hour, with loose diamonds in the high tiers

    Work the hourly arms race

Unlike daily quests, the arms race changes category every hour: one slot rewards gathering, the next training troops, another researching. The key is synchronising: build up resources and production queues and release them right in the slot that scores that activity. Collect each reward as soon as you unlock it, because when the hour changes you lose whatever you have not claimed. Played this way, the same action scores at once in the arms race, in the daily challenge and in whatever state event is running.

  • Around 25 diamonds a day plus speed-ups and resources

    Daily rally against Wendell

Wendell is a special target that appears on the map and is taken down by calling a rally with alliance mates. It is not content you can solve alone: you need people online at the same time, which is why organised alliances usually set a fixed slot to call it. The reward is modest per attempt but completely stable, and doing it as a group also adds points to the daily challenges that reward attacking. It is one of the few diamond incomes that does not depend on your base level.

  • Continuous cash income depending on your commercial hub and bank levels

Turn surplus into cash at the commercial hub

Cash is scarcer than it looks because almost everything consumes it. The stable source is the commercial hub helicopter: sell your surplus there, especially water, which is only spent on the ration truck. Dispatch the helicopter as soon as it finishes so it comes back sooner, and station a hero in the building: it levels up on its own and adds bonuses on every trip. Round it out by maxing your banks and tapping the outside loudspeaker to attract zombies, which drop small money packs when you take them down.

Every week

  • Chests with diamonds according to the point bracket reached each day

Score in Clash of Zones and state events

Clash of Zones runs for seven days and each day rewards a different activity: gathering on the first, building on the second, and so on. Since scoring is calculated by state rather than by alliance, even a modest account contributes. The strategy is to spend nothing during the preceding days: save resources, speed-ups and trained troops and release them on the day that rewards that specific action. The higher your base level the more each tier costs, so claim the partial rewards as you reach them.

One time only

  • An initial cushion of several thousand diamonds between quests and base achievements

Clear the progress quests when you start

The first few dozen base levels come with a long chain of progress quests and achievements that pay out only once. It is by far the biggest block of diamonds a new account will ever see, and it runs dry fast if you upgrade buildings without checking the list. It is worth reviewing which achievement you are halfway through before deciding on your next upgrade, and chaining the ones that close several objectives at once. Once this block is exhausted, your income rate drops sharply.

What does not work

No generator can add Diamonds to your Last Shelter: Survival account: the balance is handled on the game’s servers and there is no way to touch it from outside. If you arrived looking for one, we explain in detail how they work on the inside and why they always end the same way.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get more diamonds without being a high-level player?

Base level has little influence on the most consistent sources. Alliance attendance, the Wendell rally and the first tiers of the daily challenge pay a small account almost the same as a veteran one. What does change with level is the cost of reaching the third tier of the challenge, which becomes demanding. Prioritise joining an active alliance over upgrading buildings blindly.

How long does a free player take to gather diamonds for an advanced teleport?

It depends on whether you are in an alliance that stocks the shop. With technology contribution points you can redeem teleports and shields without touching diamonds, and that is the recommended route. If you have to pay for it with diamonds, the realistic pace for a consistent free account is a few hundred a day between attendance, Wendell and challenges, so we are talking days, not weeks.

What should you do with the diamonds you have saved?

The uses that pay off most are the ones that save structural time: unlocking construction queues, covering the last stretch of a long upgrade that is blocking you and buying safety when your state goes to war. Spending them on loose resources is the worst option, because resources are gathered and diamonds are not. Keeping a cushion for shields during state events prevents far greater losses.

Why are my alliance attendance rewards not showing up?

That bonus requires the alliance to keep a threshold of genuinely active members, not just registered ones. In small groups or ones with lots of abandoned accounts the counter never gets there and the button hands out nothing. The fix is to move to an alliance with demonstrable daily activity: check its chat and rally participation before joining, not just its power ranking.
