What is the fastest and most efficient way to get Platinum in Warframe?
Platinum is Warframe's premium currency and it covers weapon and Warframe slots, build rushes, cosmetics and account upgrades. Digital Extremes sells it, but also allows it to be traded freely between players, so anyone farming desirable items can sell their time to whoever would rather pay. Credits are the internal currency: they fund builds, mod upgrades and the tax on trading itself. The two economies connect, because without Credits you cannot close a Platinum trade.

The coupons expire and do not stack with each other, so it is better to commit to a purchase when a good one turns up than to sit on it indefinitely.

Credits are needed to build, rank up mods and pay the tax on every trade, so running out blocks your Platinum sales. How do you unlock trading so you can sell for Platinum?
You need to reach Mastery Rank 2 and have two-factor verification enabled on the account. From there, the number of trades you can make each day equals your Mastery Rank, and the counter resets daily. In other words, ranking up doesn't just unlock gear: it directly widens your capacity to generate Platinum, which makes completing rank-up tests early worthwhile.
Why am I charged Credits when I receive Platinum in a trade?
The system applies a Credit tax to every transaction, which varies with the rarity of what is being traded and is also charged to the person receiving Platinum. That is why it is common for a new player to have sellable items but be unable to close the sale: they are short on Credits. Keeping a reasonable reserve by farming the Index or other profitable missions stops you getting stuck mid-negotiation.
How do you know what price to sell a Prime part or an arcane at?
