Gold from controlling provinces goes into the clan treasury, not into each player's account. Leadership decides how it is used: some clans hold it for shared expenses, others split it based on attendance at battles, and others reward only the first-team players. Before joining a clan, ask about those rules and about the minimum number of games required to get a share.
How much do credits pay in random battles without a premium account?
The result depends mostly on which tier you play. At mid tiers, repair and ammunition costs are moderate and a decent game turns a clean profit easily.
